Pensacola Beach Report 08/10/2022

SURF

The surf has been pretty light heading into the weekend, but we have seen a few riders trying their luck on the 2 footers breaking on the West side of the pier.  This time of year, the surf changes quickly based on weather activity in the gulf, so stay tuned to the Pensacola Beach Report for up to date info.

FISHING

The past week has provided us with plenty of rain and challenging Gulf conditions, so not much to report on the fishing front other than some Tarpon and redfish being caught off the beach and the local inshore bite producing redfish and trout early and late in the day.

BEACH

Well, it looks like we have much better beach conditions for the weekend with a lot more sunshine and a lot less rain. The kids are back in school, so weekday beach lounging will be much less crowded that it has been all summer and the hotel rates are getting more and more attractive for local staycations.  It’s beautiful outside this weekend.  Y’all come see us!
