Good afternoon Pensacola Beach! There is some mild surf today with yellow flags but a high risk rip current risk remains in effect until Friday afternoon. Be extra cautious in the water this week as rip currents can drag even the strongest swimmers into deeper water.

It couldn’t be much nicer out here for a late February beach day, so come on out and get some Vitamin D. The weather this week is teasing us for summer with the highs being in the 70’s and the low’s being in the 60’s. Water temps are in the mid 60’s, so a swim is not out of the question for the brave.
