Pensacola Beach Report 4/11/2022

SURF

The surf was nice and high when we got out there. The surf was about four feet, perhaps a little higher. The lifeguards had a yellow flag out today and the surf definitely warranted it (flags can always change throughout the day so always make sure to check).

FISHING

We had another report of the first catch of the season. We saw some lucky angler caught the first king mackerel of the season from the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier. It weighed in at 17.6 pounds! We’re loving getting these reports. It’s also amazing we have the ability to just go out and fish from the pier everyday, it’s not only for getting those instagram worthy photos.

BEACH

The weather today was kind of blah all day. 🤷‍♀️ What can we say it happens, even at Pensacola Beach. The color of the sky never really changed and the sun rarely came out to say hi. The best part of beach living is that even on those days the beach, the water and the vibes are still amazing out there. We love it! The waves crashing, the kids running in and out of the waves boogie boarding. Where else are you going to find that on “blah” days?!

The temperature was 73 degrees, but it was windier than we expected so it felt colder. Hanging out at Pensacola Beach?! We wanna see your pics Make sure to tag us in your post on social and use #pensacolabeachcom so we can share all your best beach days!
