Pensacola Beach Report 4/19/2022
SURF
The surf out on the Gulf is flatter then flat out there today. We’ll see the surf getting higher throughout the week, but it’ll still only predicted to reach a couple of feet, nothing major out there.
FISHING
We had reports of cobia being caught, which sounds about right with us being in cobia season. It’s high time we start getting those reports rolling in. We also had reports of king mackerel being caught. One was 27 pounds! That’s a great size fish. If you’re interested in fishing here at Pensacola Beach make sure to check out our fishing page for more information and fishing charters.
BEACH
We had the best day hanging out on the Frisky Mermaid for a dolphin cruise. Frisky Mermaid Dolphin Tours and Boat Rentals is a locally owned business that specializes in epic dolphin cruises here in Pensacola Beach. We were taken out for a couple hours, saw so many dolphins and learned so many interesting dolphin facts during the tour. What a way to spend a Tuesday.
The temperature is about 72 degrees and not much wind, unless you’re on a boat. 😉 If you ask us this is a perfect day for a beach day. The weather is gorgeous, sunny and we are looking forward to more days like this in the very near future.
