Pensacola Beach Report 4/21/2022

SURF

The surf is starting off at two and three feet today and will stay between two and four feet throughout the weekend. Hopefully the conditions will stay calm and the water temperature becomes warmer so we can all jump in the Gulf.

FISHING

All those nice reports of cobia are now making their way to us. We had more reports of cobia being caught both off the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier as well as those who were out boating. We also keep seeing reports of king mackerel. The fish are ready and eager to bite! Need more information on fishing at Pensacola Beach? Make sure to check out our fishing page for more information and fishing charters.

BEACH

You heard it here first…this weekend is going to be spectacular! *Insert happy dance here* It has been breezy the last couple days and today is no exception. We will see less wind Friday through Sunday, and we’re looking at a lot of sun and clear skies. Last week, we said warmer temps were officially on their way and this weekend they’re officially here. Over the next four days we’ll see the temperatures slowly climb from the mid 70’s until they hit 80 degrees. This weekend at the beach is gonna be fire.

In addition to the amazing weather the beach has four major events going on this weekend. We’ve got the Fire Fighter Challenge, Deluna Open water Swim, Beerfest at Hampton Inn and Bamboo Willie’s 20th Annual Crawfish Festival all happening. Whew! We’re over here getting ready for all the fun. Check out all the events and event pages below👇

If you’re cruisin’ down to Pensacola Beach over the next few gorgeous days don’t forget to tag us in your social posts and use #pensacolabeachcom so we can share the fun times you’re having.
