Pensacola Beach Report 5/2/2022
SURF
Not much to mention by way of surf today. It’s pretty low-key out there. The waves are beautiful and all but we were getting tired of all the red flag days 😉
FISHING
We’re still getting lots of reports of cobia being caught in copious amounts. We also received a report of a 43.5 pound red drum being caught off the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier. The best part was it was the first time the person had caught a fish. How awesome is that?! Need more information on fishing at Pensacola Beach? BEACH
We had the opportunity of a lifetime the other day. We had the chance to board a Cruisin’ Tiki for a beautiful sunset cruise! It was the perfect evening to take in the sunset. Drew was our captain and he did an amazing job. Cruisin’ Tikis is a locally owned business that specializes in tiki cruises here in Pensacola Beach.
They offer different types of tiki cruises so you’re sure to find one that’s the perfect fit for you and five friends. They have a cooler full of ice for each trip and even provided cups for our drinks, all you have to do is bring your own drinks, snacks and swimsuits.
…and now the report for today. The temperature hit 80 degrees! Woot woot! We are definitely on the upswing for warmer weather. It’s feeling like we’re going to need another sunset beach day sooner rather then later if ya know what we mean.
