Pensacola Beach Report 5/5/2022
SURF
The surf is going to reach between two and three feet Friday and will lower throughout the weekend to only about one foot. We’re really hoping Mother’s Day ends up being calm so we can spend the day dipping our toes in the water, swimming the the Gulf and relaxing on the beach.
FISHING
Cobia is still the lead runner in our fishing reports right now, we’re especially hearing about more cobia being caught from the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier. Way to go guys! We also got a report of some speckled trout being caught inshore. It was a pretty big one, coming in at a little over two feet. Need more information on fishing at Pensacola Beach? BEACH
This upcoming weekend is shaping up to be a pretty good one. We’re really looking forward to this Mother’s Day weekend. The weather looks like it’s pulling it’s typical Pensacola behavior and doesn’t want to make up it’s mind. Friday is going to be stormy with rain showers and clouds. Saturday it’s going to be cloudy with the potential for some scattered showers thrown in there. We are happy to report that Sunday should be perfect, just in time for Mother’s Day. One thing stays consistent…Pensacola weather is always keeping us on our toes. The temperatures are looking awesome all weekend. We’re so glad they’re finally back up in the mid to high 80’s.
