SURF

The surf reached about three feet today, but mostly stayed in the two foot range. It should be a calm out there for the rest of the weekend, but always make sure you check the flags before you head into the water.

FISHING

All we can say is the fishing is on point and we’re here for it. So many reports coming in of all different types of fish being caught inshore, offshore and on the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier. We saw three friends who each caught a cobia while fishing on the pier. What a great day for them! I bet there were some celebratory beers afterwards. Need more info on fishing at Pensacola Beach? Check out our fishing page for more information.

BEACH

It’s Friday!

It’s so nice after a long week to come out to Pensacola Beach for a few minutes of relaxation before we head into the weekend. We came out to the soundside for a little peace and quiet, and we were so lucky because that’s exactly what we got. We know this place will look a little different tomorrow and Sunday for Mother’s Day weekend with all the families and kiddos coming to celebrate.

The temperatures hit the mid 80’s today and it’s looking like that’s where they’re staying from now on. We’re looking forward to an amazing weekend hanging out at Pensacola Beach. Planning to be out at the beach this weekend too? We want to see your pics! Tag us in your post and use #pensacolabeachcom
