Pensacola Beach Report 6/22/2022

SURF

The surf is only coming in at 1 to 2 feet and the Pensacola Beach Lifeguards are waving the green flag today. Perfect day to swim and enjoy the Gulf. You’ll stay cooler for sure in the water (Flags can always change throughout the day so always make sure to check).

FISHING

The fishing reports we’re getting are fantastic. So many different types of fish being caught out there lately. We’ve had reports of trout, cobia and red snapper being caught. So many great fishing adventures taking place. All these reports give us all the Pensacola Beach summer vibes. Curious about fishing on Pensacola Beach? Check out our fishing page.

BEACH

The day is gorgeous and the water is unbeliveable, but we’re not going to lie it’s a hot one out there today! The temperature was already at 90 degrees at 10am this morning while we visited Pensacola Beach and filmed this video. The high is supposed to be 97 degrees, but with the heat index and humidity it feels hotter out here for sure (103 degress to be exact). Make sure you’re staying hydrated and finding shade when you’re out there visiting.

Pensacola Beach is full of fun activities now that summer is in full swing. Make sure to check out our event calendar at https://pensacolabeach.com/event-calendar/ for all the local events. There are local bands playing every week at Bands on the Beach, the Fishing Rodeo is taking place at Flounders, beach yoga and so much more is happening! You’re not going to want to miss out! We can’t wait to see you at the beach! Make sure to tag us in your post on social and use #pensacolabeachcom so we can share your fun adventures!
