Pensacola Beach Report 7/1/2022

The surf is about one foot today and will be flat to only about one foot over the next couple of days, but this can change depending on impending weather. Always pay attention to the Pensacola Beach Lifeguard flags while enjoying your time on the beach, they can change throughout the day.

Not much fishing happening today due to rain, but we have been having reports the last few days of copious amounts of flounder being caught. We’ve also seen a lot of vermilion snapper and spotted seatrout as well. Make sure to check conditions before you head out because this weekend is slated to be a rainy one unfortunately.

4th of July weekend is here! We’ve got Christian Garman here to kickoff our weekend with the weather forecast that will take us all the way to Monday. We’ve had a lot of rain this week and the next couple days hold much of the same, although we’re seeing it slow down a little as we approach Monday for the 4th of July. It will be mostly cloudy with shattered showers through much of the weekend.

Monday we may see the sun peak out and a small chance of showers that will hopefully move on so we can enjoy some fireworks. The temperatures will be in the mid to high 80’s depending on the rain. Make sure to check out the fireworks from Red Fish Blue Fish on the sound side. The view of the fireworks will be phenomenal from there! Heading to Pensacola Beach for the holiday weekend? Tag us in your social posts and use #pensacolabeachcom so we can share it.

7/4: Fireworks on the sound side @ 8:30pm
