Pensacola Beach Report 9/8/2022
The surf has been pretty minimal the past couple of weeks with the absence of storms in the Gulf. We LOVE the fact that the Gulf has been quiet so far this season, so the surfing may just have to wait a while before it shows up here in the Panhandle.
The offshore fishing has been good for mingos around the wrecks, the triggers have been biting and some jacks have been showing up as well. Some mahi, wahoo and a few tuna have hit the docks in the past week or two. The inshore fishing for Reds and Trout has also been pretty good and we’re about 4-6 weeks away from seeing the big bull reds come into the bay. That’s when the real fun starts! – Report provided by Bloodline Fishing Charters
The beach has been fantastic with the summer crowds dwindling and the kids back in school. We did have some jellyfish the past few weeks, but they have mostly cleared out now and we’re getting to that magical time of year when the evening temps will begin to cool off, but the water is still plenty warm. Come on down and enjoy the beach!
