We begin to grieve well before a person dies. Most of us have been grieving changes\, choices\, disappointments\, and losses—small and large—throughout our whole life. \nWe all grieve and often it started when we were too young to even know what it was. This was my experience! There wasn’t a name for GRIEF\, and I certainly didn’t know how to articulate the pain that I experienced from my loss early in my life. GRIEF starts early and unless it’s processed to completion\, it accumulates and compounds over the years. “Kids are resilient. They’ll get over it\,” they thought. \nI didn’t get over it and even tried to bury it with multiple substances\, and various people. I discovered that the unresolved pieces within our relationships matter. I worked diligently to find ways to process my life experiences only later to discover there were names that identified the pain I felt . . . GRIEF and LOSS. \nHI! I’m Chaplain Candi Wuhrman\, a longtime Hospice Chaplain\, Spiritual Counselor and Grief Transformation Coach and Guide. Over the many years\, I’ve been with thousands of people at the end-of-life and entire families through grief and loss—before\, during\, and after a death. \nI’M HERE TO HELP YOU! \nWhether you’ve had a recent loss\, it’s been years\, you’re facing an upcoming loss\, and/or the thought of death scares you to death\, you’re in the right place.
