HOW TO: Create Content in the Calliope Content Creator Studio

What we will go over in this class:

1:Lighting and Equipment in the Studio: 5:30pm – 6:15pm

• In-depth conversation about every light and piece of gear in the studio.
• Why are Spotlight mounts cool for your videos? What the heck is spotlight mount? SLOW DOWN.
• How to maximize the space.

Break and Network: 6:15pm – 6:30pm

2: We will go over 3 looks achievable in the studio: 6:30 – 7:30

A. The social media Talking Head look.

• Lighting and audio set up
• Where to stand for best results
• How to create depth with color, camera placement, and camera settings.

B. The model look

• High Key model look (make up commercial, product commercial)
• Low Key model look (Sexy, boudoir, intimate lighting)

C. Podcast setup and lighting

• Lighting and audio set up

Break and Network: 7:30 – 7:45

3: Let’s film or photograph YOUR IDEAS! 7:45pm – 9:30pm

We will in real time, right before your eyes, create looks you bring in! Together, you, me and the rest of the class will collaborate on your look.

(PLEASE READ RULES AND REQUIREMENTS BELOW)

• To have your look created during class (photo or video) you MUST submit a 1 paragraph description and a reference image or video. Emailed to chris@filmsbycalliope.com 24 hours in advance.
• We reserve the right to decline filming, photographing your look IF we feel it would not be achievable in the time we have. I’m sorry :/ (Willing to stay late if you are though! Whatever, let’s go!)
• These will be shot on an iphone 16, A7siii OR bring your camera or phone to tackle it with my and the classes help!
• If you have a model or talent coming for you look be sure they show up no later than 7:30.
• If no looks are submitted we will vote in the class to decide what we want to create.
