Fort Pickens
Our “Guardian of the Gulf” sits on the western-most point of the island where gulf waters merge with the deep channels of Pensacola Bay. Casino Beach
This lively central hub, still considered the “main beach” of Pensacola, helped usher in the modern era and put us on the map as a leading travel destination. Constructed in 1931 to host pageants, boxing matches, and specialty events, this hotspot still draws crowds for the iconic beach experience!
Gulf Islands National Seashore
A true national treasure, Gulf Islands National Seashore features over 18 miles of unspoiled coastline, sand dunes, and sparkling waters. Divided into three primary zones –– East, West, and Central –– the seashore offers endless outdoor recreation opportunities and scenic driving routes.
Quietwater Beach
Tucked away in a convenient cove, this area is home to the island’s greatest concentration of restaurants, retail shops, and open-air bars. While its multi-use boardwalk plays host to some of the area’s most famous events (like the annual Bushwacker Festival) you can easily find idyllic spots where the whole family can enjoy the tranquil waters.
