October officially starts tomorrow! Around here, October is a time for family fun, music, and food! Some of the biggest events of the year happen this month, so we wanted to bring you another list to help you plan your next trip!
Pensacola Beach Songwriter’s Festival
October 1-6
The Pensacola Beach Songwriter’s Festival is an annual event that takes place over a spread of locations along the beach! Independent musicians from all over the area come to share their unique sounds and tastes with the community in a massive celebration of music for all — kicking off the October month with a crash, boom, bang!
Taste of the Beach Festival
October 12
The Taste of the Beach festival is a time for restaurants all along the beach to show off their best dishes for everyone to enjoy! You can also expect fun and games for all ages along with free musical entertainment! The festival site is located at the Casino Beach Gulf side Pavilion; thus, the entire event will be backdropped with the natural beauty of Pensacola Beach!
Gulf Coast Jazz Festival
October 18-19
You like jazz? Well, you’re in for a treat with this year’s Gulf Coast jazz festival! Gathered at the Casino Beach Gulf side Pavilion, you can expect renowned and local jazz musicians to stir the soul!
UFOs Haunted course
October 18-19, 25-26
Explore the Haunted Course at UFO’s on Pensacola Beach, Florida. If you’re a thrill-seeker with a taste for the paranormal, mark your calendar because something spooky is coming to Pensacola Beach!
Brace yourself for a chilling experience like no other as you embark on a spine-tingling journey through the haunted course at UFO’s.
Beach-O-ween at Pensacola Boardwalk
October 18
A not-so-spooky event for the whole family taking place on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk, the 6th annual Beach-O-Ween promises fun and games for everyone to enjoy! Kids and parents can expect free treat bags, a fun costume contest hosted by Cat Country 98.7, snacks, drinks, and a bouncy house courtesy of Bamboo Willie’s!
Gulf Breeze Zoo “Boo at the Zoo”
October 12-27
The Gulf Breeze Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo festival includes Halloween entertainment and kid-friendly fun around every corner. Explore our trick-or-treat trail complete with candy, treats and toys, bounce houses, face painting, and our Ambassador Animal Headquarters, not to mention the entire Zoo! Dates: October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27 Times: 10 am till 5 pm
Pensacola Interstate Fair
October 17-27
The Pensacola Interstate Fair is the biggest and most fun event on the Gulf Coast! With over 60 rides, awesome entertainers, tons of cool exhibits, and loads of tasty food, there’s always something new to check out. The Fair highlights Agricultural, Educational, Scientific, Livestock, Cultural, Commercial, and Industrial resources from the surrounding areas. It’s a lively mix of exhibits that brings in people from all over the country!
