2026 Show Overview

The 2026 Pensacola Beach Air Show officially begins on Wednesday, July 15, with Breakfast with the Blues. Around 7:30 a.m., the Blue Angels arrive and make several passes over Pensacola Beach as they mark show coordinates and center points, giving early visitors their first look at air show week.

Who are the Blue Angels?

Formed in 1946, the Blue Angels were created to keep naval aviation top of mind for the public during peacetime – and let’s just say, they’ve exceeded expectations. Their jaw-dropping maneuvers serve not just as entertainment, but as a tribute to the skill, discipline, and excellence of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Stationed right here in Pensacola, these pilots are more than performers, they’re neighbors, ambassadors, and icons of flight.

Where to Stay

Lodging fills up quickly for this event—if you’re thinking of waiting until the last minute, think again. Here are some solid spots just steps from the sand:

Fairfield Inn & Suites Pensacola Beach – Newer on the scene and right on the Gulf, this one’s a top pick for comfort and unbeatable views.

Surf & Sand Hotel – Easygoing and retro with a private beach on the sound side. Bonus: the kayaks are free.

Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach – A beachfront classic with great service, quick boardwalk access, and a pool made for cooling off after the show.

Hilton Pensacola Beach – A beachfront stay with multiple pools, direct beach access, and on-site dining at Salt and Bonsai, making it easy to spend air show weekend just steps from the action.
