Bands on the beach – sep 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Spend Tuesday evenings listening to live music at Gulfside Pavilion on Pensacola Beach during Bands on the Beach. Organized and provided by the Santa Rosa Island Authority, the free concert series features a different band each week with the Gulf as the backdrop.

blue angels practices – sep 1, 9, 15, 22

Watch the Blue Angels take to the skies over NAS Pensacola during scheduled practice sessions at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Arriving early is key, and the September 9 practice includes an autograph session at the museum following the flight.

coastal county oktoberfest – sep 4-6

Coastal County Brewing Company celebrates Oktoberfest with three days of German-inspired food, seasonal beer releases, traditional music, games, competitions, commemorative steins, and more. The festivities take place at the brewery on East Olive Road with free admission.

beach famous bathtub races – sep 6

Race or watch as two-person teams take on the annual Bathtub Races on Santa Rosa Sound behind Bamboo Willie’s Beachside Bar, with proceeds benefiting Pensacola Beach Elementary School. Teams can register to compete, and the day also features live music and fireworks at 8 PM.

end of summer fireworks cruise – sep 6

Head out with Frisky Mermaid Dolphin Tours for an evening cruise before settling into a viewing spot on the water for the Pensacola Beach fireworks. The cruise passes beneath the Bob Sikes Bridge before positioning in the bay for the show.

Baja Coastal Kitchen hosts Margs & Mahjong, an open-play evening featuring friendly competition and a little help from instructors for players who need guidance. The event is hosted with Sam and Danielle of Rusted Arrow Mercantile, and admission includes your first margarita.

gallery night – 18

Gallery Night returns to downtown Pensacola with September’s “Viva Pensacola: Latino Festival” theme. The monthly event brings art, music, food, local businesses, and entertainment into the streets for an evening celebrating Pensacola’s creative community.

jukebox gala – sep 19

Pensacola Opera’s signature fundraising event returns to Hilton Pensacola Beach for an evening of dining and live performances. Guests enjoy a four-course dinner as opera artists perform selections from opera and musical theater tableside, with proceeds supporting Pensacola Opera’s professional performances and artists.
