Banana Ball is Coming to Pensacola in 2027
Pensacola is officially going Bananas. The Banana Ball World Tour is coming to Blue Wahoos Stadium May 21–22, 2027, bringing two nights of the fast-paced, entertainment-filled version of baseball to downtown Pensacola.
Pensacola was selected as one of 75 cities on the 2027 World Tour through a collaborative effort between the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Pensacola Sports, and Innisfree Hotels. With Banana Ball drawing crowds at major stadiums across the country, its Pensacola stop is expected to bring plenty of excitement to the waterfront ballpark.
Here’s what to know about Banana Ball in Pensacola, including who’s playing, how the ticket lottery works, and how to turn the games into a Pensacola Beach weekend.
Banana Ball at Blue Wahoos Stadium
Banana Ball takes over Blue Wahoos Stadium in Downtown Pensacola on May 21 and 22, 2027. The waterfront stadium overlooking Pensacola Bay will host two teams from the Banana Ball Championship League for the Pensacola stop of the World Tour.
The event brings Banana Ball’s signature combination of baseball, entertainment, unusual rules, and fast-paced gameplay to a stadium already known for its waterfront setting and close-up game-day experience.
As temperatures begin to cool from the height of summer, outdoor activities can become an even bigger part of the itinerary. You can spend the morning exploring Pensacola Beach, grab lunch or dinner at a waterfront restaurant, then head into Pensacola for a festival, concert, or other seasonal event.
Who Is Playing in Pensacola?
The Pensacola games will feature the Loco Beach Coconuts taking on the Indianapolis Clowns.
Both are part of the six-team Banana Ball Championship League, which also includes the Savannah Bananas and Party Animals. While the Savannah Bananas helped launch the style of baseball that grew into the World Tour, they will not be the team playing during the Pensacola dates.
How to Get Banana Ball Tickets in Pensacola
Getting tickets works a little differently than a typical game at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Tickets for the Pensacola games are only available through the official Banana Ball Ticket Lottery List.
Fans interested in attending must join the Ticket Lottery List by October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Joining the list does not guarantee tickets. A random drawing will take place ahead of the event, and selected fans will receive information directly about their opportunity to purchase available tickets.
Tickets are priced at $35, $45, or $65, depending on seating and stadium size, with no hidden fees.
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos will not sell tickets through their own ticket outlets. Fans should also avoid third-party ticket sites, as tickets listed through sites such as StubHub and Ticketmaster are not valid for Banana Ball games.
What Is Banana Ball?
Banana Ball takes traditional baseball and gives it a faster, entertainment-focused twist. The format has grown from games featuring the Savannah Bananas into a touring sports experience with multiple teams and stops at ballparks, football stadiums, and other major venues around the country.
The 2027 World Tour will visit 75 cities, with Pensacola joining the growing list of destinations hosting Banana Ball.
Make It a Pensacola Beach Weekend
If your name is selected through the ticket lottery, why stop at game night? Blue Wahoos Stadium is located in downtown Pensacola, making Pensacola Beach a convenient home base for turning your Banana Ball trip into a weekend getaway.
Spend some time along the Gulf, explore the island, grab a waterfront meal, and then head downtown for Banana Ball at Blue Wahoos Stadium. With two games scheduled for Friday and Saturday, it’s an easy excuse to make a full weekend out of the trip.
Get Ready for Banana Ball in Pensacola
Banana Ball’s arrival adds another major event to Pensacola’s 2027 calendar. On May 21–22, the Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns will bring two nights of Banana Ball to one of downtown Pensacola’s most recognizable venues.
For fans hoping to be there, the first step comes much sooner: join the official Ticket Lottery List by October 31, 2026 for a chance to purchase tickets.
